RCORP-Implementation Project

The goal of the Robeson County RCORP-Implementation project is to strengthen and expand substance use disorder (SUD)/Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) prevention, treatment, and recovery services in order to enhance access to treatment and movement towards recovery among residents of Robeson County. Prevention-focused goals include developing culturally informed strategies and increasing school- and community-based prevention programs. Treatment-focused goals put emphasis on enhanced screening, service coordination, and medication-assisted treatment, and integrated care. Recovery goals center on discharge coordination through developing linkages to community-based services for individuals leaving treatment and the use of peer support services.
